Link Love: A 4 year old's paper dresses, an AirStream makeover, and ancient Pantones
So much to love today!
One of my fave features of other people's feeds, blogs and tweets is discovering things that make me smile.
Herewith, some items from the week.
4 year old Mayhem makes paper dresses. How cute is this My Little Pony-inspired one?
When I first came across this article I thought for sure the mom was some weird pageant mom forcing her daughter into her creations. But it actually looks like Mayhem is driving this bus. What a cutie! And such creativity.
Four year olds haven't learned to tamp it down...so they create unabashedly with whatever they have available. I love it!
Don't you want to sleep here?
This is Mary Jane's refurbished Airstream. It has a claw foot tub inside.
My mom subscribes to a magazine called Mary Jane's Farm all about life out on a mid-west farm. It's been around for ages and Mary Jane is quite the lifestyle queen. She has a food product line and hosts events.
My favorite concept might be her "International Glamping Weekend" in honor of which she kitted out an Airstream that had seen better days. (It was disgusting.)
You'll most likely want to read all about the reno.
How beautiful are these watercolors?
This is pretty amazing too! If you like color, art, color theory, design at all, you'll see what a wild labor of love this was.
In 1692 a Dutch artist mixed some 800 colors in his book to document variations in hue.
The book itself is stunning and I might do some color mixing of my own to play on a rainy day...
