Dioriffic Makeup at Saks

For my friend's wedding I paid a visit to Saks in Boston for some event makeup. Now, I'm super organic when it comes to most stuff, but for vibrant color, I must admit that all the junky (read carcinogenic) makeups really are better. Concentrated colors that last and last through hours of sweaty dancing long after the satin peep toe pumps have come off. So, off I went and plopped into the chair of the gifted Valentina (Tina for short) at the Dior counter. I described my dress (the blue/cream ombre Herve Leger that has become my go-to) and she went to work. I wasn't going to have time for hair, so the makeup had to, ahem, make up for its wildness.
