I Heart: Old Lady Jewelry & 29 Cosmetics

I can't help loving massive jewelry.

My mom calls it "old lady jewelry." Namely because it's typically gold, ornate, and often includes obscenely-sized stones and/or colored enamel.

I say that as a tall woman, I get to wear big jewelry. None of that delicate stuff for me.

So imagine my delight when I ran into a girl at Neiman Marcus in San Francisco sporting this gorgeous specimen.

We were at an event for the inaugural Napa Film Festival and fortunately it was for sale!

Hot dog. I totally needed a piece of big jewelry.

Another highlight of the evening was meeting a fellow Southerner, Lydia Mondavi.

Lydia did my maquillage with her brand of skincare and cosmetics, 29.

29 Cosmetics makes use of the grape seed extract from the Mondavi vineyards to create natural products that make your skin look great.

She is just an impressive business woman and is an expert in the spa and beauty industries.

I DREAM of going to the Old Edwards Inn and Spa in NC sometime soon.
