Maximizer. Potentializer. Explorer. Appreciator.
What kind of creative entrepreneur are you?
To help myself and my fellow creative entrepreneurs, I made a quiz. Because, really, who doesn't like a quiz? And after working for 12 years with over 300 entrepreneurs running businesses ranging from startup to $1billion in annual revenue, I think I can safely say I've seen a LOT.
And I think that most small business owners who also self-identify as creative fall into four main categories: Maximizer, Potentializer, Explorer and Appreciator. All four have some things in common: We are creative. We value our creative practice even if it is not necessarily part of our revenue model. We underestimate the time we spend on non-generative activities. We overestimate the time it takes for satisfying creative work.
Bottom line? We all want to do more of our creative practice and less of something else.
When we understand which type of creative entrepreneur we are, we can then leverage our specific abilities as a springboard to greater fulfillment, joy and, yes, sustainable revenue.
The quiz is short- just 5 questions. Once you're done you can choose to receive a video and pdf for your type to tell you more about what it really means for you in your creative and business life. So, please join me!

A few months ago, I envisioned a place (online) where I'd create a collection of articles and ideas, images and words and videos about specific subjects that are meaningful. Thus was born SCHOOL/ED.
This first collection features all manner of media from writers, entrepreneurs and artists from around the world who have something to share that inspires inquiry, creativity, connection.
From now through December 2017, you can come here to read/experience the latest additions to the SCHOOL/ED library.
